Prior to working with Metrix Marketing, Cayuga Community College was experiencing a number of challenges. Among them, a problem that most colleges have been faced with, the shrinking base of high school graduates to recruit from. In an attempt to fill that
void, the school had tried unsuccessfully to appeal to the non-traditional student audience. Metrix became the agency of record for Cayuga and stemmed the decline in market share and gradually grew market share vs. other regional community colleges. Metrix Marketing’s work for CCC included a Predictive Analytics & Data Modeling project, development of a series of television commercials, digital advertising, a survey of current students and
recent alums, email marketing to multiple lists, media planning, and buying.
